SharpStar 13028HNT

SharpStar 13028HNT Ultra-Fast 130mm Hyperbolic Newtonian Reflector SharpStar continues its legacy of innovation with the introduction of the 13028HNT, a 130mm hyperbolic Newtonian reflective telescope boasting an ultra-fast focal ratio of f/2.8. This latest model follows the success of the groundbreaking 15028HNT and offers a compact design with a slightly smaller aperture, making it an ideal choice for astrophotographers seeking high performance in a portable package. Key Features: Hyperbolic Primary Mirror: The 13028HNT features a precision-engineered hyperbolic primary mirror that delivers round, sharp stars across the full-frame, supporting a 44mm image circle. Ultra-Fast f/2.8 Focal Ratio: Achieve the same image quality as f/4 telescopes while reducing exposure time by nearly half, perfect for capturing deep-sky objects with speed and clarity. High-Quality Optics: The primary mirror is made from Pyrex-alike PZ33 glass with a dielectric multilayer coating, offering up to 97% reflectivity. The secondary mirror's 65mm minor axis ensures full-frame illumination. Enhanced Corrector Lens: The corrector lens system includes a two-refractive-lens set, one of which is ED glass, improving aberration correction while simplifying the optical system. Lightweight Carbon Fiber Tube: The telescope tube is constructed entirely of high-end carbon fiber, reducing weight and enhancing durability. CNC-machined metal components and lightweight tube rings add to its refined design. Precision Focuser: Equipped with a 2.5" rack-and-pinion focuser featuring coarse and fine adjustment knobs, the 13028HNT allows for precise focusing. It includes an M63 thread, which can be adapted to M48×0.75 with the included ring. Standard 55mm Back-Focus: The user-friendly back-focus is standardized at 55mm, making it accessible for both newcomers and experienced astrophotographers. Versatile Mounting: The package includes a versatile handle and a Vixen-style dovetail plate, allowing easy attachment to various equatorial mounts and accessories. Why Choose the SharpStar 13028HNT? The SharpStar 13028HNT offers astrophotographers an unparalleled combination of speed, precision, and portability. Its cutting-edge optical design and high-quality construction ensure exceptional imaging performance, while its compact form factor makes it easy to transport and set up. Whether you’re capturing detailed deep-sky images or exploring the night sky, the 13028HNT is a powerful tool that will enhance your astrophotography experience.
