Shannon Crocheted Openwork Top Crochet Pattern

Sometimes, the beauty of crochet lies not in where the stitches are, but in where they aren’t. This lacy openwork top demonstrates that principle. A delicate lacelike fabric makes up the top and the fluttery short sleeves. Good fit is ensured by the ribbed bottom band. The simple pattern works up very quickly. Make it in cotton for a flirty summer look, in wool to layer over a tee with jeans in the fall, or in a shiny metallic for a special occasion. However you make it, you’re going to love it.
