The Arnie is Shady Character's signature frame, a crisp rectangular optical cut from Takiron cellulose acetate and handmade in Japan. It ships with clear demo lenses ready for your prescription. Founded in 1970s New York by Linda Rae Tepper and Steve M Abrams of the vintage shop The Ruby Slippers, Shady Character built the original Arnie with Tart Optical; this licensed revival carries that lineage forward, its Rebel-restamped originals now hard to find.
