Backstory / History The Sergeant Major Boonie is the grizzled veteran NCO who has forgotten more about field craft than most soldiers will ever learn — a man whose weathered expression tells the story of decades spent in jungles, deserts, and mountains that don't appear on any tourist map. The boonie hat is his trademark: practical, unassuming, and worn with the easy authority of someone who has earned the right to look however he wants. He is the backbone of the squad, the institutional memory of the platoon, and the last man standing between a bad situation and a catastrophic one. Collectors love the Sgt Major Boonie for Vietnam, GWOT, and jungle warfare dioramas — the essential senior leader figure for any historically grounded squad build.
