The benefits of Gas equipment include snowmaking virtually anywhere you have a water source that matches or exceeds the pressure washer GPM rating. The downside of gas equipment is sound level and maintaining gas levels. If you are looking for quiet operation because you live in a neighborhood or do not want to refill the gas tanks during operation, choose electrical components. Keep in mind our large Electric pressure washer pumps require 230volt power for operation. Many customers have a 220volt 30amp outlet installed in a convenient location near a water source. The large electric pumps can be parked close to the power source and a long high-pressure hose can be used to deliver the water to the snowmaker. We highly recommend adding the Lance Kit option to your purchase. This lance kit has been specifically designed to handle the pressure and high water volume combination that is unique to SAH’s snowmaking pumps. Temperature Requirement 29° Fahrenheit / -2°Celsius or less. See Snowmaking Chart.
