Sfoglini Cavatelli Pasta

A Southern Italian Treasure Crafted for Perfect Bites. Discover a classic pasta made to the highest standards with our Sfoglini Cavatelli. A staple in Italian cuisine, Cavatelli originated in Southern Italy. Its name comes from the Italian word “cavare,” meaning “to hollow out” or “to carve.” The shape’s design, with its grooves and hollow center, makes it ideal for capturing sauces because the ridges cling to thick textures, while the hollow center traps smaller ingredients like meat or vegetables. This ensures every bite is flavorful and evenly coated. Our Cavatelli is bronze-die extruded and slow-dried, which adds a rough texture to the surface that “hugs sauce” effectively.
