Sextants Over Satellites FOM 9 Graphic Tee

Sextants Over Satellites Once, navigation demanded patience. A sextant, a horizon, a few stars—and the confidence to trust your own work. This design is built around that moment in time, just before everything became instant. A classic marine sextant, rendered in metallic navy and silver, sits at the center—precise, deliberate, human. Around it, subtle space-age elements and retro orange accents hint at what came next: satellites, screens, certainty on demand. It isn’t an argument against GPS. It’s a memory of what was lost in the transition. The long nights plotting fixes. The quiet satisfaction of knowing where you were because you proved it. Most sailors wouldn’t trade modern navigation away—but many still miss the discipline, the intimacy, the connection to the sky and sea. This design lives in that space between eras. Not practical. Not efficient. Just honest. .: Made with 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, the Bella Canvas 3001 is a lightweight fabric (4.2 oz/yd² (142 g/m²)) that's breathable and easy to layer.
