Sewing 101 w/ Mallory: Envelope Pillow

Attention beginners. This can be your first sewing class! Learn some basic sewing machine features as you sew a quick and easy envelope pillow case. This introduction to sewing will get you started with all of the basic skills and more. You’ll learn how to use a rotary cutter and mat, how to stitch straight lines, and build confidence with a sewing machine. You’ll leave with a beautiful pillow to use at home and the ability to replicate it as you build your sewing skills.  Final Dimensions – 18” x 18” Supplies (not included in the cost of this class): Please note that all materials purchased for this lesson at Sew To Speak do receive a 15% discount.  1 1/8 yd of fabric – Quilting Cotton or Home Décor weight – Be sure to wash and dry your fabric before you arrive in class.
