It gains a thriller-like momentum as it moves along, and can be disturbing enough to be nightmarish, yet still maintains a modicum of mischievous wit.” – John Doyle, New Yorker “It combines the paranoia of a '70s thriller with the dehumanizing vastness of Stanley Kubrick's visionary stories of characters becoming overwhelmed by the environmental forces engulfing them.” – Robert Levin, Newsday “Severance is part workplace satire, part dystopian thriller – a combination that is hard to pull off, but writer Dan Erickson has managed it.” – Anita Singh, Daily Telegraph (UK) “An impressively idiosyncratic thing, wholly itself and confident in its mission to make your mind implode.” – Lucy Manga ” As high concept television goes, Severance is pretty lofty, but its ambition is compelling -- not least because it might just be the bulls--- jobs backlash we’ve been waiting for.” – Leonie Cooper, Independent (UK) Award-Worthy: SEVERANCE was nominated for every major award that recognizes achievements in television. 2023 Winner of Peabody Award for Entertainment 2023 Winner of AFI Award for TV Program of the Year 2023 Winner of Critics Choice Super Awards – Sci-Fi Fantasy Series - Best Actor (Adam Scott), Best Actress (Patricia Arquette) 2022 Nominee for 5 Saturn Awards 2023 Nominee for 2 DGA Awards 2022 Nominee for 14 Primetime Emmy Awards 2023 Nominee for 3 Golden Globe Awards 2023 Nominee for 3 Independent Spirit Awards
