Set of 5 African Kitenge Animals by Project Have Hope - Medium Size

This set includes one each of a giraffe, elephant, rhino, zebra and lion. Each animal is made using bright, African kitenge fabric and is stuffed with cotton to form each of the various wild animals found in Uganda's national parks. Fabric colors vary. Each ranges from 5 to 9 inches tall. Project Have Hope, a nonprofit founded in 2006, empowers more than 100 Ugandan artisans.  Our handmade designs provide a fair wage, help women build a secure future for their families, and create a more equitable world.  Fair trade and sustainable, our products are handmade by African women using repurposed materials. Made by hand, each piece is truly a work of art. This art also truly makes an impact and empowers this impoverished community in Uganda. Through the sale of these crafts, children receive an education, women receive business loans to expand their entrepreneurial spirit, and dreams become reality. Each design colors the world with hope.  We invite you to join us.
