From Servorahmen- We recommend moving the antennas of 2.4 GHz receivers to the outside not only for carbon fiber hulls. With fiberglass hulls, too, you can achieve a plus in safety and greater range with a clean antenna installation. The antennas are often moved when transporting and handling the models, but also when landing. With the "2.4 GHz antenna protection" cable breaks are avoided and the antennas are clad in an aerodynamically favorable manner. The part made of elastic material contains a channel through which the antenna is guided before the antenna protection is glued to the fuselage with silicone or superglue.
