Linen Yarn, Servizi E Seta LINO, Premium Italian Lace Weight Yarn, Balls or Cones, 1300m/100g

Linen Yarn by Servizi E Seta LINO is a luxury Italian lace weight yarn made from 100% linen, with approximately 1300 meters per 100 g. This extra-fine Italian linen yarn is created for breathable summer garments, elegant layering pieces, weaving, and refined natural-fiber projects where structure, freshness, durability, and a clean matte finish matter. This is a true fine linen yarn — crisp and slightly dry before washing, then softer, more relaxed, and more comfortable with washing and wear. LINO creates clean, defined stitches, holds shape well, and works beautifully for modern garments that need breathability, structure, and natural texture. Because this yarn is extra fine, it is best used in multiple strands for hand knitting or crochet. This gives makers control over fabric weight, structure, and drape while keeping the finished piece cool, durable, and beautifully natural. LINO is also an exceptional companion yarn for blending, especially when you want to add linen strength, crispness, and summer wearability to another fiber. Even a small amount of linen can elevate a blend, making it look more refined, structured, and finished. ▣ Product Specifications • Manufacturer: Servizi E Seta, Italy • Article: LINO • Fiber Content: 100% Linen • Yarn Category: Lace Weight • Yarn Count: Nm 2/26 • Yardage: approx. 1300 m / 1422 yd per 100 g (3.52 oz) • Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE) • Origin: Made in Italy ⌁ Texture & Feel • Cool and breathable • Crisp, dry linen hand before washing • Smooth, structured strand with low elasticity • Elegant matte finish • Softens beautifully after washing and wear • Refined natural texture ⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special LINO offers the understated elegance that only fine linen can provide. It is breathable, strong, durable, and naturally cooling, making it especially valuable for warm-weather garments and sophisticated textile work. The extra-fine construction makes this yarn especially versatile because the final fabric can be controlled through strand count. In several strands, it creates lightweight summer knits with structure and drape. In weaving, it offers the strength and timeless texture that linen is known for. Linen has very low elasticity, which helps garments keep their shape and creates a fabric that feels stable, breathable, and non-clingy. It is especially beautiful for summer tops, shells, scarves, wraps, cardigans, fine woven textiles, and natural home textiles. ✧ Fiber Profile • 100% Linen • Excellent breathability • Natural strength and durability • Cool, dry hand feel • Low elasticity for stable fabric • Softens over time with washing and wear • Ideal for warm-weather and long-lasting garments ➤ IMPORTANT — Yarn Usage This is an extra-fine lace yarn and is generally too fine for comfortable standalone single-strand hand knitting.
