Series 55 Polyester Intake Filter Panels – (Case quantity varies)

The Air Flow Technology Series 55 self-supported panels are designed as an economical solution for cross draft intake air filtration in paint spray booths in the automotive, industrial and wood finishing markets as well as for commercial and industrial HVAC applications. The dual tackified, 2 ply Series 55 panels may be utilized as stand alone filters or as prefiltration in combination with high efficiency bag or rigid box filter systems.  The proper selection of Paint Booth Air Intake Filters for enclosed paint and powder coating booths requiring a dust free environment can go a long way in preventing product rejects. This item does not qualify for free shipping.   Specifications: 100% Polyester filter media with downstream tackifier (impregnated with two non-migrating tackifiers) - Air enters white side and air exits green side Panels come in 20” x 20” (20 per carton), 20” x 25” (20 per carton) or 20” x 48” Bi-Fold (10 per carton) sizes Panels have a 2" thickness 75% efficiency on 10 microns Non-toxic Anti-microbial Heat-sealed to a 9 gauge internal support frame 2 ply design promotes graduated density loading MERV 7 180 cfm rated air flow Rated UL 900, Class 2 Low unit cost   Additional Information: SERIES 55 PANEL & LINK FILTERS When packed in cartons, the panel design creates a space savings that results in a 50% reduction in shipping, handling and warehousing over a standard case of 12 cardboard frame flat panel or pleated filters. The Series 55 Panel is constructed of 100% polyester media impregnated with two non-migrating tackifiers. It is non-toxic, unaffected by humidity and inherently resistant to microbial growth. The media is heat-sealed to a 9 gauge internal support frame.   Graduated density loading - The 2 ply design of the Series 55 panel promotes graduated density loading. This structure, along with the application of a dual tackifier, enhances efficiency and optimizes service life (dust holding capacity). The first ply is porous and traps large particles. The second ply incorporates an external heavy dry tack to capture increasingly small packages.   Linked Filters for Side Access - Available in a broad range of standard and custom sizes, these panels may be linked for optimal fit in any size system. When linked, Series 55 panel filters offer numerous advantages over cardboard framed pleated panels or fiberglass filters.   Ease of Installation - Links slide easily in and out of the housing without tape or collapse. The rigidity of the internal 9 gauge wire frame enhances the filter bank integrity.   Leak-proof Seal - When installed, the leak-proof, self-seal panels eliminate the potential of any dirty air bypass between or around the filters.   PERFORMANCE DATA Air Flow Technology provides independent test data on particle size efficiency and initial resistance to rated air flow on all of its HVAC filtration products. This information is provided to assist you in the proper selection of a filter system for your particular application. Whether your requirement is low static pressure (resistance) or high performance, you can depend on the independent data provided to guide your selection process to the proper Air Flow Technology product. SERIES 55 SPECIFICATION Air filters shall be as manufactured by Air Flow Technology. Filter construction shall be of multi-layer non-toxic synthetic media, securely heat-sealed around the external periphery of a 9 gauge metal internal support wire frame. The media shall provide gradient density for maximum contaminant loading and shall incorporate a dual tackifier for enhanced performance. Each filter shall be rated UL 900, Class 2 by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.   *24” X 24” filter tested per ASHRAE 52.1-1992 **24” X 24” filter tested per ASHRAE 52.2, Test Aerosol KCl, Neutralized
