Serger Basics--Burrito Pillowcase Class

Looking forward to an empty nest?  Are you soon to send off your last chick to college or to a new apartment? Or are you leaving the nest and off on your own at last?  Look no further for housewarming or donation ideas than a simple serged pillowcase ala burrito style. This easy method will soon have you remaking all your linens to coordinate with your bedding and quilts, just like Laura does.  Join us September 15 from 10 AM to 12 PM.  Everyone is welcome! Materials included for one standard pillowcase: 9" x WOF strip (1/4 yard) for cuff 1" x WOF strip for accent strip 27" x WOF strip for pillowcase base Bring your own 4 thread cones, serger and manual to review settings and threading for 4-thread overlock. If you don't have a serger, let us know so you can test out one of ours.  This is a great summer class for teens!  Two can share one machine and the fun of making your own pillowcase.
