Grace Potter and Bonnie Raitt - September 2016 Relix Issue

The September 2016 Relix issue features our Grace Potter and Bonnie Raitt cover story and much more! This issue of Relix is dedicated to the ladies of the music industry. It’s been said that the music industry is a boys’ club—especially when it comes to the jamband scene that helped birth the modern live-music climate. And, as Bonnie Raitt and Grace Potter discuss in this month’s revealing cover story, it’s a difficult divide to navigate, even if you consider yourself one of the guys. Both musicians have had storied careers, yet their modes of expression, personal styles and even opener choices have been unfairly criticized in ways that their male counterparts have not experienced.  This special "Women Who Rock" issue also features in-depth articles on Sharon Jones, Nicki Bluhm, Amanda Shires, Neko Case, k.d. lang & Laura Veirs, Norah Jones Rita Coolidge, Rachael Yamagata, Stef Scamardo, Jacklyn LaBranch, Margo Price, Alana Rocklin, Angel Olsen, Sarah Watkins, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Joseph, as well as a look into the inspirations of female staff members in the Relix offices and more!
