SENNHEISER HD600/ HD650 Headphone Cables

Sennheiser's excellent headphones are fully balanced units, capable of outstanding performance when run with a balanced headphone amplifier and balanced cable.  The stock cable can also be upgraded for better, fuller sound.  We offer silver-Teflon upgraded standard and balanced cables for most Sennheiser models.  These cables fit the Sennheiser models with dual prong headset connections, including the HD414, HD420, HD430, HD525, HD545, HD565, HD580, HD600, HD650, HD650S, HD660S and HD58x Jubilee.  Our silver-plated Teflon wire is far thicker and more conductive than the hair-thin wire that comes with most headphones.  Move up to a silver-Teflon headphone cable for the best listening experience. We offer a number of termination and material options, selectable in the drop-downs above.  Wire Selection. You may choose a cable with Standard or OCC silver-plated copper wire with Teflon insulation.   Standard wire is military/aerospace quality silver plated copper with Teflon insulation, 24 AWG twisted pair.  The OCC cable uses a costly and premium wire formed of specially processed silver plated copper, with Teflon insulation and is of high purity, "5N" or better.  It is approximately 28 AWG. This high purity wire sounds great and has been specially selected by us for its electrical and mechanical properties.  Both types of wire are very flexible, can be bunched, and are durable.  For a comparison of our Standard and OCC wires, click this link. Sleeving. Our cables are fully sleeved with a soft, cloth-like black fabric covering. Our silver-plated Teflon wire is far thicker and more conductive than the wire that comes with most headphones.  Move up to a silver-Teflon headphone cable for the best listening experience. .  PonoPlayer Balanced Mode Termination (Dual 3.5mm) to Sennheiser Dual Prong.  Our P-01 line of PonoPlayer cables provides a very high quality balanced mode output from the PonoPlayer to your Sennheiser headphones.  These cables allow the highest possible quality connection for your high resolution Pono player files, balanced output to balanced headphones.  They consist of dual 3.5mm Neutrik plugs which connect into the Pono player dual outputs, and Sennheiser dual prong plugs for your headphones.  You may select length and sleeving type from the drop downs above, or email us for other modifications.  See our PonoPlayer page for other cables compatible with the PonoPlayer. If you are considering a pono player cable, please consider the mating P-04 Adapter cable (described on the Pono Player cable page), to allow an easy connection from the Pono Player jacks on this cable to a standard headphone jack. The P-01A cable has lightly marked "L" and "R" on the headset connectors, as well as + and - indicators.  Connect the cable so that these markings face the outside of the headphones on the Left and Right as indicated. Note the tiny pins are different sizes so these only fit one way.    Due to popular demand, we build our cables fully sleeved.  The cables use full (soft, cloth like) sleeving along the entire cable with no exposed wire.  Upgraded Sennheiser Headphone Cables. For balanced connections, we offer the S-02A, which features a stereo pair of balanced Male XLR connectors on one end and the Sennheiser connectors on the other.  Use this cable to connect your Sennheiser headphones to a balanced headphone amplifier output.  We also offer the S-02B which features a balanced 4 pin male XLR connector on one end and the Sennheiser connectors on the other.  Use this cable to connect your Sennheiser headphones to specialty headphone amplifiers with 4 pin female outputs.   Plush Sleeving. We now use a black soft "plush" braiding for reduced microphnics and improved flexibilty.  This is a nylon cloth-like sleeving that feels like fabric, yet is rugged. Upgrade your Stock Cable. If you are just seeking an upgrade to the standard HD6xx cable, the S-UP is what you are looking for.  This features a 3.5mm connector with 1/4" screw-on adapter on the player end, and HD6xx connectors for the headphones.  A nice upgrade from the stock cable in your choice of wire types.  Adapter Cables. If you already have a balanced Sennheiser cable, you may be interested in our adapter cables, which can convert a balanced output from 3 or 4 pin XLRs or a PonoPlayer into the type of connection on your headphone cable.  If so, email us.   Package Deals.
