Sending My Love Pin

This love letter pin is apart of a fundraiser to send 1000 love letters to Peoria, IL. It is a 1.5 inch, high polish gold, hard enamel pin. In honor of Pride and Juneteenth, this pin was designed to send a love letter to the Peoria, IL community during these past hard months and community unrest. This campaign will run for 30 days from June 15th to July 15th. This is a preorder and will go into production July 16th and will take 4 to 6 weeks from that date to manufacture depending on the quantity. Weekly updates on the campaign will be shared on the blog and social media. Emails will go out for those that have ordered with updates when production begins. Free local pickup is available at checkout under the delivery method. While 10% of the proceeds will go to producing the pins and orders, 90% will be split between four community groups; Center for Prevention of Abuse, Central Illinois FRIENDS, Girls Light Our Way, and Young Revolution. I will not be taking any of the proceeds but if you would like to tip the designer then you can at check out. Learn more about the campaign here and please share online. I want to circle back with the group at a later date but I ended up donating their portion to Lit. on Fire Used Books. I felt that they were a fitting business to donate this time. They have worked so hard during this pandemic to educate the community by supplying literature on the subjects of race relations and history. While these times are especially hard on small businesses, the owners of Lit have faced many hardships this year but still fight to stay open when they can even though they have increased risk.
