Send Ashes into Space : Special Offer

Spirit Pieces is excited to offer this special opportunity to be part of a historic space journey.  In 2027, Ashes to Space will send 1000 vials of cremation ash into orbit for a 5 year journey around earth. The Ashes to Space memorial service carries a symbolic portion of cremated remains into Earth orbit aboard a commercial rocket, where they circle our planet on a cosmic journey. Includes periodic mission updates, flight tracking, and a digital flight certificate. Each participant becomes an Ashtronaut™ — a pioneer whose memory lives on among the stars. This is more than a memorial. It is a way to celebrate a life well lived, written among the stars — a cosmic journey that doesn’t feel like goodbye. DETAILS Approximately 1/8 teaspoon (0.5-1g) of cremains is asked for. Launches on the next available mission, currently October 2027. Customization: Available name engraving on the spacecraft ($50). A collection kit is included for this purchase, sent from Ashes into Space. Disclaimer: Spirit Pieces has a marketing partnership with Ashes into Space.  You'll be working with Ashes to Space to facilitate the sending of ashes into space, and all product liability rests with Ashes into Space for this item.   You can purchase a credit through Spirit Pieces, redeemable with Ashes into Space, or directly on Ashes into Space's site.  Please refer to their T&C for more information.
