Sempervivum 'Moss Rose'

Description Light/Soil/Water Hardiness Sempervivum ‘Moss Rose’ forms a compact rosette with soft green centers and pink tones, made up of densely packed, pointed leaves. The leaves are lined with long cilia, giving the rosette a textured, slightly fuzzy appearance. This variety is a strong offset producer and can generate numerous new rosettes each spring, quickly forming tidy clusters. Sempervivum plants originate from mountainous regions of Europe, where they are adapted to bright sun, rocky soils, and cold winters. ‘Moss Rose’ responds well to outdoor conditions, maintaining tight rosettes and consistent color through seasonal changes. Full sun to partial sun Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 50%-70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot. Non-toxic to dogs, cats, and horses (Pet-friendly). Zones 5-10
