Sempervivum heuffelii 'Giuseppi Spiny'

Description Light/Soil/Water Hardiness Sempervivum heuffelii Giuseppi Spiny is a distinctive, cold hardy succulent known for its tightly packed rosettes with bold, spiny leaf tips. The thick leaves display rich green tones layered with deep red to burgundy highlights, creating a striking contrast that intensifies with strong sunlight and cooler temperatures.                                                                                                                           As it matures, this variety forms dense clumps rather than spreading by runners, resulting in a compact and structured growth habit. It grows steadily and maintains its vibrant coloration throughout the seasons. During the blooming cycle, mature rosettes may produce flower stalks before completing their life cycle, while new offsets continue to develop from the base.                                       Full Sun.                                                                                                             Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot. Zone 4-10
