Most mattresses around the 6” depth will be an all-form construction, which is much easier to build and requires less material cost. Steel will outlast foam in essentially every case, which is why we use it in 6 of our 8 mattress models. With the Seminole, you can expect better support and comfort that lasts longer than other mattresses at this thickness. Comfort Layers Above the support system is a layer of medium-firm padding, which serves as the comfort layer. At 1.8 LB, this provides a durable transition layer between the coils and the body. Quilting At the very top, a 3/4″ layer of custom quilting is sewn to give the mattress that “classic” look and feel you’d expect from a custom mattress. A fabric blended with Tencel fibers will keep air flowing efficiently throughout the night. Our Take The Seminole is a temperature neutral, medium mattress that feels as good or better than some twice as thick.
