Selkirk LABS Project Paddle - 008

Overview The next evolution is here: Selkirk LABS Project 008 10mm. This is Selkirk’s introduction of the high-density PureFoam core paddle technology, available in a thin and powerful 10mm thickness. The LABS 008 pickleball paddle attacks the concept of paddle durability and responsiveness from its core, delivering a new evolution that will change the future of pickleball paddles. Dampens vibration. Flexes to increase dwell time. Increased spin. Effortless pop. Explosive power. Forgiving sweet spot. No core crushing. A CORE BREAKTHROUGH: Groundbreaking paddle core technology. You never get complacent, and neither do we. So we weren’t satisfied with pickleball’s status quo of polypropylene-core paddles. Over time, these polypropylene cores can get crushed and deformed—especially with other brands that use “thermoformed” or “Gen3” processes without quality controls—affecting the paddle’s responsiveness and making even the most routine shots unpredictable. What does that mean? You have to replace your paddle more often. The solution: a completely new PureFoam core technology, made from high-density foam that resists crushing and deformation – increasing durability while reducing how often you need to replace your paddle. Aside from durability improvements, the PureFoam core also enhances the paddle’s performance through an enlarged sweet spot and a less stiff feel than that of polypropylene cores. High-density foam dampens vibration and gives the paddle more responsiveness – flexing to increase the dwell time while creating spin and ensuring consistency throughout the paddle face. The high-density property of the PureFoam core creates explosive power with effortless pop – it’s rare for a 10mm paddle to have this much power paired with a forgiving sweet spot and controlled feel. Project 008 sets a new standard for 10mm power paddles. It’s the future of paddle cores, and LABS members get it first with Project 008. The 10mm thickness serves the aggressive player with explosive power. A T700 Raw Carbon Fiber Face allows for consistent feel and spin. The Thermoformed Construction with Additional Foam Wall surrounds the perimeter, enhancing the paddle’s responsiveness and durability while expanding the sweet spot to give you extra forgiveness. Available in the Invikta shape — the Project 008 offers tailored performance for a power-focused player preference. Combined with thermoformed construction and PureFoam core, the 008 delivers durability, playability, and confidence across all areas of the court.
