Disciplined (Self Disciplined and Determined) ~ Subliminal

Self Disciplined and Determined — Vince Lombardi once said, "The difference between winning and losing is quitting." History teaches us that great men and women are their best through continued self discipline and dogged determination. Don't let life's trials side-track you from achieving your goals. As with most any truly worth goal, we all encounter what seems like roadblocks and challenges. It can be easy to just surrender—it’s not meant to be. That attitude will most certainly yield a self-fulfilling result. When things get tough, as the saying goes, the tough get going. Persistence is a characteristic of the determined individual. The stories of people who refused to quit even after experiencing failure are abundant. They include people such as Steve Jobs, Milton Hershey, Thomas Edison, George Steinbrenner, and so many more. Indeed, most people are unaware of the fact that the success of J.K. Rowling and the first Harry Potter book came only after twelve different publishers rejected the book. Walt Disney was fired because his boss felt he lacked creativity, and if you want some real irony, the company he was fired from was owned by ABC. The Disney Company went on to buy ABC some forty years later. It takes discipline to carry out persistence. Determination pays off. Calvin Coolidge put it this way, “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not. Nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not. Unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not. The world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”  Whatever your goal or ambition, to succeed you will need that mind set which carries with it the energy and ambition to persist, the discipline to remain doggedly determined about your success, and the belief in yourself that you can and will do it! As Benjamin Franklin put it, “Energy and persistence conquer all things.” Don't let life's little trials sidetrack you from achieving your goals. Obstacles are opportunities there to overcome. Many confident and competent people miss their goal because they simply quit too soon. You’re not destined to be one who quits five minutes before the miracle. You deserve to win!
