It's a genuine step towards a net-zero lifestyle, enhancing your property's beauty and ecological value. What To Expect When Using Flawn Seed: With regular watering, Self-Heal seeds will germinate in 2-3 weeks, with small plants initially. After the first growing season, your flowering lawn will burst into beautiful purple-pink blooms (2-6" tall) from June to August, becoming a vibrant nectar and pollen source. Patience is key: mature flowering lawns with abundant blooms can take 6-24 months to fully establish, especially in areas with thick, previously fertilized grass. Watering regularly after seeding and through dry periods is critical for success. How To Start Your Flowering Lawn Journey: Easy Seeding: No need to remove existing grass! Simply mow your lawn very short, hand-spread the seeds evenly (one pinch at a time) over the grass, water lightly, and watch it grow! Flexible Timing: Seed in spring (after ground thaws, soil around 55°F), summer, or fall. For dormant seeding, spread in late fall over frozen ground or throughout winter over fresh snow. Avoid seeding before hot, dry periods. Bare Soil Areas: While designed for overseeding existing grass, you can increase the seeding rate for bare soil areas. Maintaining a Flawn: Low Maintenance: Self-Heal significantly reduces the need for mowing. Once established, watering is typically only required during extended droughts. No Pesticides: Do not use pesticide weed or insect killers. Hand-weed if necessary or desired.
