Self-Care (PDF)

Self-care is not just about pampering — it’s about noticing your needs and giving yourself the same care you give others. Choosing to care for yourself takes awareness and consistency, even when life feels busy. The Self-Care handout helps explain what self-care really means. It includes tips for every category (physical, emotional, and mental) so clients can create a more balanced and sustainable routine. At the end, they’ll also find an important reminder. With this handout, young people can gain clarity about what helps them feel balanced, safe, and supported. To help them get used to a new self-care activity, they can pair it with something they already do each day — like listening to music while doing a few stretches right after school. For additional education on self-care this handout can be paired with our self-care wheel for kids and teens. *This item is an instant digital download.
