Selene Hoops - Bronze

in Greek mythology, there were three gods of the moon. However the goddess Selene, was believed to be the personification of the moon herself. A goddess with many lovers who mothered many children. A goddess who embraced the feminine in its entirety, not shying away from the glorious embodiment and fruitfulness of her roundness and constantly evolving shape.  the Selene Hoops were born to encourage the embrace of the feminine energy we all carry within us. our divine hunger to create life in all forms and senses of the word. our freedom to flow into new phases and forms and orbit what grounds us.  the Selene Hoops were first carved in hard wax and then cast in bronze using the lost wax casting method. ear posts are made 925 sterling silver.
