Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SRQ039

A limited edition celebrating Seiko's long legacy in athletics Designed for those who treat life as the ultimate adventure, the Seiko Prospex line meets every challenge with technological excellence and style. Celebrating Seiko's first precision chronographs, developed for international sporting competitions in 1964, as well as its 1969 introduction of the world's first automatic chronograph, this Speedtimer Chronograph provides measurement of up to 30 minutes of elapsed time in 1/8-second increments. The contrasting black subdials, LumiBrite hands and markers, and yellow chronograph hand provide enhanced legibility. Visible through the screwdown, see-through caseback, the 34-jewel automatic movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 45 hours and manual winding capability. The proprietary 8R46 movement includes a column wheel and vertical clutch mechanism allowing for smooth, stutter-free movement of the chronograph hand while providing longer wear and efficiency, and improving maintenance of the power reserve during chronograph operation.  Specifications Movement: Caliber 8R46 (automatic with manual winding) Frequency: 28,800 vibrations per hour Number of jewels: 34 Case: Stainless steel case with super-hard coating Diameter: 42.5mm Thickness: 15.1mm Length: 45.5mm Crystal: Dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface Dial Color: Blue with contrasting black totalizers Bracelet: Black leather strap Power reserve: approximately 45 hours Water Resistance: 10 bar, 100 meters (330 feet) Other Features Chronograph measures up to 30 minutes of elapsed time in 1/8-second increments Column wheel and vertical clutch mechanism allows for smooth, stutter-free movement of the chronograph hand while providing longer wear and efficiency, and maintaining the power reserve better during chronograph operation LumiBrite hands and markers Specially designed pushers and crown for ease of use Screwdown exhibition caseback
