Sedum sieboldii has attractive rounded, scalloped, glaucous blue-green succulent leaves. It produces clusters of pink flowers in early to mid fall. Also known as October Daphne, Sedum sieboldii's foliage turns lovely shades of pink, red, yellow and orange in October, often while there are still blooms. A perennial, this deciduous Stonecrop is exceptional for use in containers. It is also nice in rock gardens. Sedum sieboldii prefers sun to part shade and average, well-drained soil. It is drought tolerant and will withstand coastal conditions.
