Suggested Serves The Second Sip Martini: This gin shines when made in a classic martini, where its balance of botanicals complements the herbal notes of dry vermouth. Gin and Tonic: Second Sip Low Proof Gin pairs wonderfully with a high-quality tonic water, where its lowered alcohol content allows the nuanced flavors to enhance and not overpower the mixer. Negroni: Order this gin in a Negroni, and it will bring out a delicate, beautifully blended cocktail that maintains the Negroni's classic boldness yet softens the edges. Production Notes Second Sip Low Proof Gin is made with meticulousness, respecting the tradition of gin distillation while bringing distinct innovation to its production process. It starts when strip distillation is done to remove impurities while retaining the rich flavors of the base spirit. Following this, a pot still is used for the final distillation where an array of botanicals are steeped to infuse the gin with complexity and character. The lowered proof is achieved by maintaining careful control over the distillation process, yielding a final product that is adventurous and satisfying, but notably mellower on the palate.
