SEC Publishes Framework Regarding Whether Digital Assets Are Securities

If you are an investor in a company which issues digital tokens to raise capital, the SEC has good news for you. In an April letter, the SEC issued says it will not take enforcement action against such a company. The letter included a published SEC framework for analyzing whether a digital asset is offered and sold as an investment contract, and, would therefore, be a security.
