SEAWASHED DECK HOODIE · ISLE-RED

Each Seawashed Deck Hoodie in the Isle Red run begins with heavyweight cotton fleece hand-dyed on Nantucket using natural red madder root. The dye settles unevenly into the fleece, producing earthy reds and muted coral undertones with natural variation across the surface. Madder reflects light softly and wears in with restraint, developing depth rather than flattening out over time. From there, every piece enters the COATUE-WASH SeaWash cycle: twenty-eight days and twenty-eight nights sealed inside an oyster bag and submerged in Nantucket’s tidal water, following the Harvest Moon. Salt, current, and sun soften the fleece and introduce subtle tonal movement—organic shifts shaped by water, light, and time. No two pieces emerge exactly alike. Each hoodie is finished with a puff paint screen print, applied by hand after washing. The print sits raised above the fabric, retaining dimension and softness rather than soaking into the fleece. Designed to wear in gradually, the mark ages with the garment without cracking or flattening. The fit is relaxed with an easy, dropped-shoulder shape—built for pulling on after the water when you want something warm, light, and dependable. No drawstring to snag on deck or pull loose in the dryer. Made from 450 GSM California-milled cotton fleece, pre-shrunk and silicone-free so the fabric breaks in naturally and develops an honest, seaworn hand. Washer and dryer friendly. Finished with a satin neck label and a discreet size / wash / MADE IN USA tag at the inner hip seam. Made in the USA. Hand-dyed and SeaWashed on Nantucket. Worn by the Sea.
