Seashell Charm - 35

Seashell Charm set in sterling silver bezel.  Quahog shells are found on the Atlantic shores of the Northeastern US. The name "quahog" comes from a Native American ( Algonquin) word for the purple and white clam shells found on the beach. I've walked these beaches all my life collecting these shells ... one of my most favorite activities! Here we have set pieces of these striped shells in silver to be worn alone or combined with our silver and stone charms. As a child collecting these shells on my native Long Island beaches I felt an intuitive connection with the history and peoples who walked these shores before me ...  Hope they bring a sense of calm just like the beach! - approx. 1" x 1" - SHELL CHARM-35
