In Search Of with Leonard Nimoy (Replica Promo Shirt/70's)

In Search Of… — Affiliate Promo Tee (late 1970s) When In Search Of… premiered in 1977, it occupied a strange and perfect space between science, speculation, and late-night curiosity. Hosted by Leonard Nimoy in peak Spock-era gravitas, the series explored UFOs, lost civilizations, paranormal phenomena, and unanswered mysteries—delivered in a tone that was calm, serious, and quietly uncanny. Promo T-shirts tied to the show weren’t sold to fans. They were sent to TV affiliates, stations, and industry insiders—functional giveaways meant to promote syndication, yet unintentionally iconic. Simple graphics, utilitarian printing, and straightforward branding reflected the era’s broadcast culture, when television still felt official and mysterious at the same time.
