Seagull Sunrise Notebook

This notebook was inspired by a quiet Wyoming morning at the lake. When I arrived before sunrise, there was no wildlife around and I had the entire lake to myself. The water was low, so I sat where the lake normally rests and watched the first light slowly rise across the mountains. Then I heard them. Before I could see a single bird, the seagulls announced the sunrise with their unmistakable calls echoing across the still water. One by one they arrived, bringing movement, sound, and life back to the lake. Watching the first gull skim the water searching for crawdads filled my heart with warmth and reminded me how beautiful God’s creation can be in the smallest moments. For over an hour, it felt like time stood still. This notebook carries that peaceful morning with it — the stillness, the light, the freedom of the open lake, and the wonder of encountering wildlife up close. Designed from my Wyoming photography, it is more than a notebook. It is an invitation to slow down, reflect, dream, and write your own story while carrying a piece of the wild with you wherever you go.
