Founded in 2002 as one of the first-ever subscription film services with its DVD-of-the-Month Film Club, Film Movement is now a North American distributor of award-winning independent and foreign films based in New York City. In 2015, Film Movement launched the reissue label Film Movement Classics featuring new restorations released theatrically as well as on home video, with an emphasis on films by auteur directors such as Eric Rohmer, Peter Greenaway and Takeshi Kitano. Written and produced by Bong Joon-ho (PARASITE, SNOWPIERCER, THE HOST), SEA FOG is a maritime thriller that captures the essence of why he is considered on of the most talented filmmakers working today. Upon learning that his decaying fishing trawler, the Junjin, is about to be sold, Captain Kang looks to make one final score by smuggling illegal immigrants from China to South Korea. After arriving at the agreed pickup point, a violent storm forces the Junjin to stall in open waters. As tension and unrest spread, Kang and his five-man crew find themselves pitted against their desperate passengers – all while an ominous fog envelops the ship and everyone onboard. directed by: Sung-bo Shim starring: Yun-seok Kim, Yoo-chun Park, Ye-ri Han, Seong-kun Mun 2014 / 111 min / 2.35:1 / Korean DTS-HD MA 5.1, 2.0 Additional info: Region A Blu-ray Cast and Crew Interviews Making Of 16 page booklet with essay by Brian Tallerico, managing editor of RogerEbert.com English subtitles
