Sea Eagle TC16 Travel Canoe Inflatable Canoe

Sea Eagle TC16 Travel Canoe – Lightweight Drop Stitch Inflatable Canoe Lightweight Freedom Meets Unmatched Stability The Sea Eagle TC16 Travel Canoe isn’t just another inflatable—it’s the world’s first patented high-pressure, all Drop Stitch inflatable canoe. Say goodbye to the heavy, tippy, hard-to-store traditional canoe. At just 33% lighter than comparable rigid models, the TC16 folds down small enough to fit in a car trunk or closet, yet inflates into a 16-foot adventure-ready canoe in under 10 minutes. Built with bow and stern molds that cut cleanly through the water and a flat planing surface for speed and glide, this canoe delivers stability you can stand on and the performance to keep up with hard shells. Whether paddling calm lakes or tackling up to Class IV whitewater, the TC16 combines portability, strength, and confidence in one sleek design. Built for Adventure Anywhere Travel light without sacrificing performance. The TC16 packs down to just 40″ x 24″ x 16″ and fits in its own bag, making it the ultimate portable canoe for road trips, weekend getaways, or big expeditions. Despite its packable size, this canoe boasts a massive 915 lb weight capacity, easily carrying paddlers, gear, or even the family dog. Its three separate air chambers add extra safety, while the removable rear skeg and full-length double chine system enhance tracking, stability, and handling in every condition. From peaceful fishing trips to backcountry exploring, this canoe offers the best of both worlds: hard shell performance with inflatable convenience. High-Pressure Drop Stitch Innovation At the heart of the TC16 is cutting-edge Drop Stitch construction, using thousands of high-tensile threads to connect the inner layers. This allows inflation to 10 psi, creating a canoe as rigid as a traditional model but far more versatile. The angled gunwales, flat bottom, and precision bow-to-stern design reduce drag, create lift, and keep paddling speeds up to 5 mph. Fully buoyant and unsinkable, the TC16 is easy to upright and re-enter from the water—something few hard shell canoes can claim. It’s not just durable, it’s virtually indestructible, making it the perfect canoe for serious paddlers who want convenience without compromise. This innovative construction reimagines the traditional canoe in a lightweight inflatable form, delivering benefits once thought impossible: unmatched safety, exceptional stability, and effortless portability—all without compromising paddling performance. U.S. Patent 9,452,809 Double Chine System For Triple Stability And Improved Tracking The Travel Canoe offers superior stability compared to many traditional canoes, thanks to its innovative double chine design running the full length of the hull. While most canoes provide basic primary and secondary stability, the TC16 delivers three levels of stability. The flat bottom provides solid primary stability, the first chine—where the Drop Stitch floor meets the sidewalls—adds secondary stability, and the angled sidewalls create an additional layer of stability. Together, these features enhance balance, tracking, and paddling efficiency, making the Travel Canoe safer, faster, and more reliable on any water. #gap-1677821729 { padding-top: 145px; } Diamond Deck Pads For More Secure Footing For safe and secure footing, the Travel Canoe features a diamond-pattern anti-skid EVA foam deck, making it easier and safer to stand—perfect for fishing or casting. This foam layer also adds extra protection to the canoe floor. To keep the optional Drop Stitch inflatable seats securely in place while offering maximum adjustability for one, two, or three paddlers, additional D-rings have been included to anchor durable nylon straps, ensuring a stable and customizable seating setup. Dual Tandem Open and Close Drain Caps Dual Tandem (two on each rear side) Open and Close Drain Caps for quickly and easily draining water. *non-self-bailing #gap-718666807 { padding-top: 30px; } Safer Because Of Inherent Buoyancy Unlike traditional rigid canoes, the Travel Canoe gains extra buoyancy from its inflatable floor and side chambers, keeping it afloat even when fully loaded. This built-in buoyancy allows you to carry hundreds of pounds of gear while still paddling and maneuvering effortlessly. Best of all, it enhances safety in challenging conditions, making the Travel Canoe reliable and secure in whitewater rapids up to Class IV. #gap-775500795 { padding-top: 130px; } Bow And Stern Molds Combined With Rear Removable Skeg For Speed And Tracking The Travel Canoe is designed with bow and stern molds that slice effortlessly through wind, waves, and currents, creating lift while minimizing drag and friction. A removable rear skeg enhances speed and tracking by reducing natural yaw, making forward motion smoother and more efficient. Ideal for open water and windy conditions, the skeg can be easily removed in seconds for whitewater paddling or when performing J-strokes, giving you complete control in any environment. #gap-42213551 { padding-top: 160px; } Packs Into A Bag And Fits Into A Small Car Trunk Not only is the Travel Canoe 33% lighter than rigid canoes of the same class, but it also deflates and packs down to a mere 1/4 of its inflated size. So the Travel Canoe will fit easily into the smallest car trunks for both easy storage and transport, making it readily available for use at all times. #gap-382413666 { padding-top: 30px; } 3 Separate Independent Safety Air Chambers 3 Separate Independent Safety Air Chambers for added safety: Starboard Side, Floor, and Portside.
