Available Size1 fl oz / 30 ml Professional RecommendationReach for this masque when skin looks depleted rather than congested — after travel, after a stretch of dry indoor air, or in the days following an exfoliating step, when the priority is comfort instead of more activity. The official directions are specific: warm a small amount in your hand with a few drops of water, spread it evenly over the face and, if you like, the neck and décolleté, let it sit for five to ten minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. Because the formula is emulsified with water before it goes on, you control how rich the layer feels — more water for a lighter veil, less for a denser, more nourishing one. Use it one to two times a week to begin with and note whether skin feels supple rather than heavy the next morning. Among the masks in this range, this is the comforting one. The Citrus & Kale Potent C+E Masque is the antioxidant-forward choice when the goal is the look of brightness and tone, and the Clear Skin Probiotic Masque is the purifying one for skin that looks congested. Seabuckthorn Balancing Masque sits apart from both: it asks nothing of the skin and is the safest mask to reach for on a day when the barrier feels fragile. It also pairs naturally with the deeper hydration work of a professional facial at Beauty Ambassade, where a therapist can tell you how often your skin actually wants it. Safety InformationFor external use only. Apply to clean skin, keep the mask out of the eye area and off the lips, and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water after five to ten minutes rather than leaving it on overnight. Even a comforting formula deserves a patch test before the first full application — a small area along the jaw is enough — and it is best to skip it entirely on skin that is broken, freshly treated or sore after time in the sun. If you have used an exfoliating product the same day, wait a day before masking so you can tell what is actually causing any sensation. Discontinue use if redness or discomfort develops. Keep the jar closed, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Not recommended for: Skin that is broken, freshly waxed, actively irritated or sore after time in the sun. The immediate eye area, eyelids and lips. Overnight wear — the formula is designed to be rinsed off. Use immediately after a peel or a resurfacing salon service without a therapist's go-ahead. Anyone with a known sensitivity to any ingredient on the label. Frequently Asked QuestionsHow often can I use this masque? The official directions suggest one to two times a week, or as often as you like. Start at once a week, and let how skin feels the following morning tell you whether to add a second session. Do I really need to mix it with water first? Yes — a few drops in the palm let the cream spread evenly and thinly instead of sitting in a thick patch. More water gives a lighter veil, less water a richer one, so you can adjust it to the day. Can I use it on my neck and décolleté? You can. The directions specifically allow it, and those areas often look dry before the face does. Is it suitable for sensitive skin? It is formulated for all skin types, sensitive included, and it is the least demanding mask in this range. Patch test first, keep the first application to five minutes, and build from there. Where does it fit around my exfoliating step? Use it on a different day, or in the evening after skin has settled. It is a good recovery step in the days following a peel, but it is not meant to be layered on top of one in the same routine. Pairs Well With Stone Crop Hydrating Mist: mist before and after masking to help the cream spread and to leave skin feeling fresh. Radish Seed Refining Peel: the exfoliating counterpart to use on a separate day, with this masque as the comfort step afterwards. Bearberry Eye Repair Cream: for the eye area the masque deliberately avoids. Calm Skin Starter Set: a complete gentle routine to build around this masque if your skin is easily reactive.
