Sd.Kfz. 7 (covered cage)

The Sd.Kfz. 7 (covered cage) variant combines a structural roll-cage frame with a canvas cover, offering both durability and weather protection. This German half-track was primarily used to tow heavy artillery pieces like the 8.8 cm Flak gun, while also serving as a transport vehicle for troops and equipment. The covered cage provided shelter from the elements and additional mounting support for gear. Renowned for its reliability, cross-country mobility, and versatility, the Sd.Kfz. 7 was a vital component of German mechanized forces throughout WWII.
