Sd.Kfz. 251/16 Ausf. D

Sd.Kfz. 251/16 Ausf. D miniature, representing the German flamethrower variant of the armored half-track used during World War II. Based on the Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf. D chassis, this version was equipped with flamethrower systems designed for close-range combat and the assault of fortified positions. The Sd.Kfz. 251/16 was used to support infantry attacks, particularly in urban combat and against entrenched defenses. Its flamethrower equipment made it effective for clearing bunkers, trenches, and strongpoints. The Ausf. D featured a simplified hull design with fewer armor plates, improving production efficiency while maintaining effective protection. Used extensively during the later years of the war on fronts including the Eastern Front and Western Europe, this specialized assault vehicle is perfect for WWII dioramas, assault scenes, or historical vehicle collections in multiple scales.
