Scratch and Company (LP)

PRESSED ON RANDOM RECYCLED VINYL 2023 repress of a pivotal dub release, first issued in 1981. This deep cut from the vaults of Lee “Scratch” Perry showcases the pioneering producer at his eccentric best, blending seasoned collaborators with fresh talent to craft a wild, genre-defying journey through the Black Ark sound. Featuring contributions from The Upsetters, Johnny Lover & The Towerchanters, Val Bennett, Lee & The Blue Bell, and others, the album moves effortlessly between haunting instrumentals, spaced-out rhythms, and roots-heavy grooves.
