Keep Your Workflow Fast. Designed in collaboration with filmmaker Chris Brockhurst, the SCOUT | Pivot Bracket was born from a simple idea: your phone is already an incredibly capable monitor. Chris has relied on a smartphone monitor setup for years to keep his camera rig compact, lightweight, and efficient. SCOUT makes that workflow stronger, more versatile, and more reliable than ever. This isn’t just another cold shoe phone mount—it’s a fully adaptable mounting solution built to integrate into virtually any camera setup. Mount It Your Way SCOUT is designed to work with the mounting standards filmmakers actually use. Compatible with: Cold Shoe Arca-Swiss NATO Rail 1/4”-20 with anti-twist locator pins Whether you’re mounting directly to a camera, cage, tripod, transmitter, or monitor, SCOUT adapts to your workflow instead of forcing you into one One of SCOUT’s standout features is its reversible connection platform. The mounting interface can be installed on either side of the pivot—or even mounted through from either direction—allowing you to choose the optimal orientation for your specific setup. It’s a small detail that makes a huge difference when building clean, ergonomic camera rigs. Dial In the Perfect Feel SCOUT features user-adjustable tension at both pivot points, giving you complete control over how the mount moves. Set the resistance exactly how you like it—from smooth repositioning to a firm, locked-in feel. Once dialed in, SCOUT holds its position with confidence, keeping your accessory exactly where you need it. Why SCOUT? Every rig is different. SCOUT was designed to adapt to yours. With multiple mounting options, a reversible platform, and customizable tension, it’s more than a phone mount—it’s a flexible monitoring solution that helps you build a lighter, cleaner, and more efficient camera setup.
