Scotty Cameron Putter Weight Socket Wrench – 3/8" Drive

Scotty Cameron Putter Weight Socket Wrench – 3/8" Drive A compact, two-in-one tool for changing Scotty Cameron sole weights. The pins on the face seat into the drive holes on the weight, and the knurled outer edge gives you enough grip to turn it by hand for routine weight swaps. The square recess on the back accepts a 3/8" drive ratchet or socket wrench. That is what makes this tool worth owning: Scotty Cameron installs factory sole weights with a mild bonding adhesive, and the first removal is often stubborn. Put it on a 3/8" ratchet to break the weight loose, then switch back to turning it by hand for every change after that. Fits both thread types. Because this tool engages the drive holes on the face of the weight rather than the thread itself, it works on Scotty Cameron large thread and small thread weights alike. You do not need to know which thread your putter uses to buy the right tool. Its low profile also makes it the more practical of the two wrench styles to keep in a golf bag or travel kit.
