Scimech HD Scissor Sharpening Flathone

Scimech HD Flat Hone – Precision Sharpening for Beauty Shears The Scimech HD Flat Hone is the ultimate sharpener for Japanese beauty shears and other high-quality hair cutting shears. Portable, powerful, and designed with precision in mind, this USA-made machine delivers exceptional results in salons, grooming shops, and sharpening businesses. Sharpening shears has never been easier or more accurate. With features unmatched by any other system on the market, the Scimech HD is trusted by professional sharpeners worldwide. 🔧 What Makes the Scimech HD Different 💼 Compact & Portable: At just 17 lbs—about the size and weight of a bowling ball—the Scimech is perfect for sharpening in tight, crowded salons. It’s easy to set up in seconds, even in busy environments. Only 1.5 amps and 90 volts. 💪 Built Strong: The all-stainless steel chassis ensures durability that lasts for decades. The clamp is built tough—drop it, step on it, it still holds true. Quiet operation and low vibration make it a smooth workhorse that’s gentle on your body and your tools. ♻️ Versatile & Ergonomic: Sit or stand—rotate the flat hone to your most comfortable working angle. The ergonomic clamp allows you to sharpen shears assembled or taken apart, including long grooming shears and left-handed tools. With the extended arm and reversible spatter guard, you'll have full control over your angle, shape, and radius—whether it's 500mm, 800mm, 1200mm, or anything in between. 🧠 Easy to Learn & Use: Minimal mechanical skill required. Most sharpeners learn the system in just a few hours. The design naturally supports both right- and left-handed users. Even those with physical challenges find it easier to use thanks to the tool’s balanced weight and clamp support. 🎯 Dependable & Precise: Built to NASA-level tolerance (.010), this machine allows for accurate sharpening and polishing every time. The micro adjustable dial detent makes it easy to fine-tune angles. Though minor upgrades have been added since its first release in 1999, sharpeners are still using their original Scimech machines daily—proof of its lasting reliability. 📦 What’s Included: Scimech HD Scissor Flat Hone (Updated 2025 model) Ergonomic Scimech Convexing & Beveling Clamp – right & left-handed compatible 2 convexing plates (with cushion & Velcro top) 2 beveling plates (Velcro top) 1 felt polishing pad  21 assorted honing papers LED light 4-hour video training library (online access) "Mastering Shear Sharpening: A Guide for Shear Technicians" e-book Plus: Additional supplies included with hands-on training sessions. 🌍 International Orders: Email us with your country’s voltage requirements.
