Regardless, brass may tarnish slightly over time. This is a natural process. Make sure you follow our product care recommendations to preserve the great look of Schwung lighting for the years to come. Brass Frame: Clean regularly using a soft cloth or duster. A damp cloth may also be used. Make sure the frame is dry before switching it back on. DO NOT use any cleaning agents for brass parts. Glass Globes: Clean regularly with a soft dry cloth. Clean only the outside of the globe. For dirtier glass, use a wet cloth first. Grease can be cleaned with a gentle glass cleaner.
