Expect exceptional speed and cornering confidence with lighter casing feel than endurance tires. Tubeless setup is strongly recommended to get the full benefit of grip and puncture protection. Fit & Use Signals Good Fit: Gravel racers, fast endurance riders, mixed-surface routes, pavement-heavy gravel events. Not A Fit: Sharp-rock terrain, loaded touring, daily urban commuting, or riders prioritizing maximum durability over speed. This is a fast race gravel tire, closer to a road slick than a traditional gravel tread. Directional tread matters. Mount it correctly or braking and cornering feel off. 45mm runs true on modern rims. Older gravel frames might be tight — always check clearance. These ride best tubeless around 22–30 PSI depending on rider weight. Overinflating kills grip and comfort. Souplesse casing feels amazing but it’s not bombproof. V-Guard helps, but this isn’t a bikepacking tire. Riders love how quick it feels on pavement and hardpack. Complaints usually come from people riding chunky rocks or wet mud. Shoulder lugs do their job when leaning, but center tread is meant for speed — not sloppy conditions. Failure points: sidewall cuts in rocky terrain, faster wear if ridden mostly on asphalt. Who this is really for: gravel racers and fast mixed-surface riders. Who should avoid: commuters, expedition riders, or anyone riding sharp limestone or desert rock regularly. Mechanic advice: run tubeless with fresh sealant, respect direction arrows, and don’t overshoot pressure. If customer wants more durability, steer them toward G-One Overland or Schwalbe’s endurance options.
