Scarlet Glow Squidlord Jig

AnglerCo Squidlord Jig – Scarlet Glow Slow Pitch Squid Jig The Scarlet Glow Squidlord Jig is fish candy with teeth marks coming. With a radiant red and pink squid pattern, built-in glow, and lifelike mantle detail, Scarlet Glow lights up deep water, low light, and dirty water with a wounded-squid look predators can’t ignore. The Squidlord’s asymmetrical squid profile was built to fall different. By shifting the mass toward the bottom half of the jig body, it creates a slower, flatter fall that hangs in the strike zone longer instead of blowing straight past fish. On the drop, the Squidlord wobbles, flutters, slides, and hangs like a stunned squid trying to recover. That’s when fish crush it. The Squidlord uses an asymmetrical squid profile with bottom-shifted weighting. That helps create a slower, flatter fall that hangs in the strike zone longer and gives fish more time to commit. What size do I choose? A solid starting point is roughly 1 gram per foot of water under normal conditions. 30g = around 30 feet 70g = around 70 feet 100g = around 100 feet 150g = around 150 feet 200g = around 200 feet 300g = around 300 feet If the current is ripping or your drift speed increases, move up a size to stay vertical and keep the jig working right. Does it come with hooks? Yes. The 30g version comes pre-rigged with a single assist hook. All other sizes (70g–300g) come pre-rigged with dual assist hooks and are ready to tie on and drop. Need extras? Grab AnglerCo Assist Pro Jig Hooks. They work with all AnglerCo jigs and jigs from other brands too. How do I work the jig? The Squidlord is designed for slow pitch and long-fall jigging techniques. Drop the jig to depth, then use smooth upward rod lifts before lowering the rod tip back toward the water. As the rod tip drops, give the jig a slight amount of slack line so it can flutter, slide, and hang naturally on the fall like a wounded squid. Lift the rod slowly Lower the rod tip toward the water Allow slight slack on the fall Repeat while staying connected to the jig Most bites happen on the fall while the jig is wobbling, fluttering, and hanging in the strike zone. If it suddenly feels heavy, stops early, or your line jumps — swing.   Looks Like Panic. Gets Eaten Like Panic. The Scarlet Glow Squidlord Jig brings glow, wounded-squid action, and slow flat-fall hang time into one nasty package. Drop it into the zone and let the squid get smoked.
