In ancient Egyptian culture, the scarab is seen as a symbol of existence, manifestation, transformation, and effectiveness, and was often worn as a talisman to protect the wearer against evil. Wax impression of an ancient Egyptian hieroglyph has been modified and transformed into a wearable piece of art through the lost wax casting process. Each talisman is uniquely made by hand.
