Scandinavian Salt Details Step into the world of Viking-inspired cuisine with Scandinavian Salt, a remarkable blend that brings the bold flavors of the past into modern kitchens. This salt starts with the finest sea salt sourced from Cyprus, which is then smoked to infuse it with a deep, rich flavor. From there, a carefully selected combination of spices including cumin, coriander, turmeric, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, clove, and onion is added, creating a robust seasoning that truly stands apart. This blend was inspired by the Vikings’ food preservation techniques, where smoked salts were used to add depth to meals, making it a perfect finishing touch for meats, seafood, and even soups and sauces. Recipes and Tips: Scandinavian Salt is a flavorful way to elevate your cooking with its smoky, spice-infused profile. It’s the perfect addition to roasted salmon, where the smoky depth complements the richness of the fish. Try it on duck breast to balance the savory notes, or sprinkle it over roasted potatoes to transform them into something extraordinary.  This salt also enhances sauces like hollandaise, bringing warmth and complexity. Whatever you're preparing, Scandinavian Salt adds that extra layer of flavor that takes your dish to the next level. Nutritional Facts: Scandinavian salt, often celebrated for its balanced mineral composition, offers several nutritional benefits due to its natural content of essential minerals. They contain sodium and chloride, both of which are vital for maintaining electrolyte balance, supporting nerve health, and ensuring proper muscle function. These minerals help regulate hydration and are critical for various bodily functions, especially during physical activity. In addition to sodium and chloride, Scandinavian salt contains trace minerals such as magnesium, calcium, iron, and potassium. These minerals play important roles in maintaining healthy bones, supporting muscle and nerve functions, and contributing to overall fluid balance.  Storage and Usage Tips: To preserve the full flavor and texture of your Scandinavian salt, store it in their grinder jar in a cool, dark place away from heat and sunlight. This will help maintain its unique smoky aroma and prevent it from absorbing moisture.
