Saylor-Beall 1.5 HP Simplex Climate Control Reciprocating Air Compressor, 6.6 CFM

Saylor-Beall 1.5 HP Simplex Climate Control Reciprocating Air Compressor The Saylor-Beall 1.5 HP Simplex Climate Control Reciprocating Air Compressor is built for commercial and industrial facilities that require dependable compressed air for HVAC pneumatic controls, climate automation systems, instrumentation, laboratories, and low-volume process air applications. Manufactured in St. Johns, Michigan, this industrial-duty compressor combines rugged cast-iron construction with slow-speed operation to deliver reliable performance, low oil carry-over, and exceptional long-term durability. Powered by Saylor-Beall’s proven 703 two-stage compressor pump, this unit delivers 6.6 ACFM at 100 PSI while operating at a conservative 435 RPM. The low RPM design dramatically reduces heat, vibration, and wear, helping extend pump life while maintaining stable compressed air delivery for sensitive pneumatic systems. Unlike lightweight retail compressors, the Saylor-Beall Climate Control series is engineered specifically for industrial environments where reliability and serviceability matter. The compressor features heavy-duty cast-iron pump construction, precision-honed cylinders, automotive-style insert crankshaft bearings, disc valves, oversized tapered roller bearings, and a high-flow flywheel for improved cooling and efficiency. Saylor-Beall’s specialized piston ring design minimizes blow-by and oil carry-over, making this compressor ideal for climate control and instrument air applications where clean compressed air is essential for proper operation of pneumatic controls and automation equipment. The 1.5 HP Simplex Climate Control compressor is available with both 60-gallon and 80-gallon ASME air receiver options. The larger 80-gallon receiver increases stored air capacity, reduces compressor cycling, and helps maintain more stable system pressure during fluctuating demand conditions. Saylor-Beall 1-5 HP Climate Control compressors are available in multiple electrical configurations including 115V single phase, 230V single phase, 208-230V three phase, and 460V three phase options, allowing flexibility for retrofit applications, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. Every Saylor-Beall Climate Control compressor includes a factory-mounted magnetic starter control panel for dependable motor protection, simplified electrical integration, and reliable industrial operation. Built with long-term ownership in mind, the compressor’s industrial serviceable design simplifies maintenance while reducing downtime. Accessible valves, replaceable bearings, cast-iron construction, and maintenance-friendly layout all contribute to lower lifetime operating costs and dependable performance year after year.
