Savannah Warrior

Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. A pride male lion alert to intruders, amidst long oat grass. Nothing exudes raw power and strength quite like a male lion, its long mane blowing in the wind, eyes focused far out onto the savannah, taking in the view. The tawny coat and luxurious mane of a male lion in his prime is a sight to behold, an echo of times past when our ancestors shared these wild places with the great predators. A lion’s physical presence has an aura to it that is instantly recognizable, like a great king has suddenly appeared on the stage.
